The role and key responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing processes and provide excellent expertise in contracts, legal documents, and compliance.
  • You support sales and production and contribute with a deep understanding of customer value and business opportunities from a purchasing perspective.
  • Optimize total cost and ensures that NCC has the best possible suppliers and subcontractors to secure a successful delivery.
  • Proactively works with risks including supplier risk management.  
  • Follows-up of key figures, KPI and suppliers.
  • Advocate for sustainability in purchasing.

About the department

You will be part of be part of a Nordic Purchasing function and work closely together with your colleagues in purchasing and other key stakeholders in the production units on identifying business improvements in a highly collaborative and innovative environment.  

Your experience and background 

  • We believe you have a Bachelor or Master´s degree in engineering/ Business Administration and economics or other relevant post-secondary education.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position. Experience from our industry is a plus. 
  • Has excellent knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes and understands customer’s value and business. 
  • Has ability to navigate in complex IT environment, efficient working methods and data-informed decision-making.
  • Able to create good relationships as well as understands value of working in teams.
  • Communicates fluently in both writing and speaking in relevant Nordic language and English.
  • To be successful in this position you have a positive mindset and identify yourself with our values ​​of honesty, trust, and respect.  
  • This position can be based in Stockholm, Solna. 
  • The position may require travelling from time to time. 
  • This is a permanent position with an initial probationary period of 6 months.  
  • In accordance with NCC: s safety culture we conduct background checks on final candidates.
