NCC has a robust compliance program to ensure that all levels of the company share a common commitment to responsible leadership and high ethical standards in business operations. ‘Ethics and compliance ’ is one of the focus areas in NCC’s sustainability framework.
Maintaining regulatory compliance is also an important part of the company’s risk management. NCC operates in an industry with several risks, such as anti-competitive activity and corruption.
NCC is committed to several global initiatives, including the United Nations Global Compact’s ten principles on human rights, labor law, the environment and anti-corruption. NCC is also a supporting member of the Swedish Anti-corruption Institute (IMM) and Transparency International Sweden.
NCC’s values, Star behaviors, Code of Conduct, policies and directives provide NCC’s employees with guidance on how to act and behave every day, internally and externally, towards colleagues, customers and other business partners. Mandatory training and communication are key elements of this work. Employees are also encouraged to report any suspected and observed violations of the law and serious violations of NCC’s Code of Conduct.
