The Nordic countries are currently engaged in an impressive effort to transform the industry. Something that has not been seen in decades. Major investments using extensive technological advances are being made in the transition to a fossil-free society. 

Beyond specific transition projects, these investments are driving the need for new infrastructure, increased energy distribution and production. While the transformation impacts the entire Nordic region it is also creating new growth zones, primarily in northern Sweden. 

NCC are already well-represented in some of the most highly impacted locations and areas. Our local expertise and collective knowledge of the impact on growing communities will be important factors in our dialogue with municipalities and other community planning actors in these areas. A key component will of course be infrastructure expertise. NCC’s experience and ability to lead large, complex projects is just as important. 

NCC already have a dedicated team of experts working exclusively with the green industry transformation and within shortly we will extend our search and ad external experts.
