The District Court in Gothenburg recently rejected NCC’s claim concerning the forensic psychiatry care facility at Rågården in Gothenburg, which was completed in 2013. NCC does not share the Court’s opinion and will appeal the judgment. NCC has, however, made a provision of a total of SEK 43 million, corresponding to the penalty and court costs incurred by the counterparty. The provision will impact NCC’s earnings in the second quarter.

Claims settled in favor of NCC, concerning infrastructure projects in Norway, means NCC has reduced provisions, which in turn positively impacts earnings for the second quarter.

Overall, a limited effect on earnings is expected concerning claims in the second quarter.
