The production premises, called ‘Loket D-hall’, include a production hall and terminal with staff areas, workshops and garages and will be constructed at the defense equipment Group’s existing factory site in Gullänget, Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The buildings will encompass a total of 12,000 square meters.

“This assignment is a good match for NCC’s expertise in security classified buildings. We have an excellent partnership with BAE Systems Hägglunds and look forward to realizing a project that NCC has been involved in for some time. It paves the way for a successful collaboration with an important business for Örnsköldsvik,” says Niklas Sparw, Head of NCC Building Sweden.

Work will begin immediately and is expected to be completed in spring 2026.

The contract amount is approximately SEK 560 million and the order will be registered in the NCC Building Sweden business area in the third quarter of 2024.
