NCC will be responsible for all civil engineering works, excavation, pipe-laying and metalworks. The project involves the laying of approximately 19 kilometers of trunk main and will supply district heating to up to 1,500 households.

“The expansion of the district heating network is an important part of society’s transition to lower energy emissions. In this project, we can use the expertise and experience we have gained from major civil engineering works in densely populated settings to help our customers efficiently make the transition,” says Kenneth Nilsson, Head of NCC Infrastructure.

For the past 35 years, NCC has delivered complete district heating solutions covering all project phases – from excavation to finished installation.

Works will begin in April 2025. The order value is approximately SEK 600 million and will be registered in the NCC Infrastructure business area in the first quarter of 2025.
