NCC signs framework agreement with City of Stockholm for paving works

NCC has signed a framework agreement for paving works with the City of Stockholm. The assignment commences in March 2024 and will extend over two years, with the option of a further two-year extension. The order value is SEK 80 million annually.

The assignment relates to paving works in the City of Stockholm and the contract work includes paving maintenance of, for example, streets, footpaths, bicycle paths and other related work.

Weather and traffic take their toll on roads, so regular maintenance is important to keep roads safe for residents. Many critical societal functions also depend on good accessibility. Stockholm is a busy city all hours of the day, but through good planning and information, the paving work will be carried safely and securely for those working on the project and for passers-by.

“A functioning society must have well-maintained streets and roads. Our expertise and experience in paving and our good cooperation with the City of Stockholm will ensure accessible streets and roads for road users. I am very pleased that we can cooperate to improve the City’s roads,” says Tommy Pettersson, Area Manager, NCC Industry.

Suborders will be registered on an ongoing basis within the NCC Industry business area.
