Earthworks began recently and thereby also the third phase of Invernesshöjden in Danderyd where NCC will construct 170 rental apartments. These will be distributed across two buildings with 7–14 floors and a basement. The apartments will be Nordic Swan Ecolabeled and have low energy consumption, thereby facilitating low operating and maintenance expenses.

“We are continuing this strong partnership with NCC in Invernesshöjden, where we are now constructing 170 rental apartments that will carry the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Reducing the climate impact through material choices, energy solutions and reuse is a priority in our ambition to reduce our carbon footprint by 25 percent by 2025,” says Magnus Andersson, CEO of Aros Bostad.

NCC and Aros Bostad entered into a partnering agreement in December 2017 to develop Invernesshöjden in southern Danderyd, a new residential neighborhood with more than 400 apartments. The first phase, which was completed by NCC in 2021, comprised 86 tenant-owned apartments across two apartment buildings. In 2022, the second phase began and is currently in production and encompasses 153 tenant-owned apartments.

“Through the experiences gained from previous phases and a close collaboration with Aros Bostad, architects and design engineers, we have refined both the framework system and design in this phase. We are now looking forward to further developing Invernesshöjden using our collective expertise,” says Henrik Landelius, Head of NCC Building Sweden.

Earthworks are under way and construction will start in November 2023 and the first occupancy is expected in 2026. The total order value is approximately SEK 300 million and will be registered among orders in the third quarter of 2023 in the NCC Building Sweden business area.
