NCC will sell land together with housing development rights in Järva Krog to Aros Bostad for approximately SEK 260 million. The sale is taking place as a stock transfer agreement and the deal is expected to generate a positive earnings effect in the Property Development business area on two occasions: in the third quarter of 2022 and the fourth quarter of 2023.
The land is part of NCC’s second development stage in Järva Krog, which also includes the office project that NCC recently commenced. When the block is complete it will contain about 10,000 square meters of office, retail space, service and residential units in a safe area with excellent transport links and close to nature.
“This sale will bring the entire block together with our Nova office project. We and Aros Bostad have the same ambitions in such areas as sustainability and customer value, which is why we are especially pleased that we are now selling the housing development rights to Aros Bostad and that the turnkey contractor will be NCC,” says Joachim Holmberg, Head of NCC Property Development.
Aros Bostad will also sign an agreement with NCC Building Sweden, which will serve as the turnkey contractor for constructing the residential units in the block. The construction contract is expected to be signed in 2022. NCC has previously constructed the Link housing project for Aros Bostad in Järva Krog.
”We are very pleased to be part of the continued development of Järva Krog. Solna Municipality has a strong residential market, which was confirmed by the pace of sales in our previous project within the area. Also, we look forward to continuing the cooperation with NCC, which is a reliable partner with a strong sustainability focus”, says Magnus Andersson, CEO of Aros Bostad.
