NCC to expand district heating network north of Copenhagen

Gladsaxe Fjernvarme has selected NCC as the main contractor to carry out a major expansion of the district heating network in Gladsaxe Municipality, north of Copenhagen. The order value is approximately SEK 600 million.

NCC reinforces and secures route E10 in Gällivare, Sweden

NCC has been commissioned by the Swedish Transport Administration to conduct road reinforcement measures on the European route E10 between Avvakko and Lappeasuando in Gällivare. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 600 million.

Invitation to presentation of NCC’s interim report for the fourth quarter and full-year 2024

NCC’s interim report for the fourth quarter and full-year 2024 will be published on Monday 10th of February 2025. The report will be distributed and published on NCC’s website ncc.com/ir at, or around, 7:10 a.m. CET.

NCC to build 174 apartments in Uppsala, with a 40 percent reduction in carbon emissions

NCC has been commissioned by Uppsalahem to build Takryttaren, consisting of 174 rental apartments in the Kapellgärdet district of central Uppsala. Using what is known as a ‘climate budget’, NCC and Uppsalahem have jointly succeeded in reducing carbon emissions in the project by 40 percent compared with the original estimate. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 290 million.

NCC to build four buildings in central Uppsala

NCC has been commissioned by Malmegårds Fastigheter AB to build four buildings with 122 new apartments and associated retail and office premises in the Torbjörns torg district of central Uppsala. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 310 million.

NCC’s Christmas gift will support young people learning mathematics

NCC continues to support learning among children and young people. This year’s Christmas donation of SEK 1.5 million will go to four organizations in the Nordic region that provide tutoring for children and young people, which can expand opportunities for a career in construction and civil engineering. In Sweden, NCC is also initiating a long-term partnership with the Mattecentrum tutoring agency.

Emissions from a renovated office building account for approximately 40% of those from a new building

NCC developed the former KY Building in the Kamppi area of Helsinki into an office building with modern spaces. The carbon footprint of the current property called Kulma21 was calculated based on realised data and compared to that of a similar new building which could have been constructed in the same site. As a result, some interesting data were acquired as to whether or not the existing building was worth demolishing or renovating.

NCC in Finland wins the Construction Site of the Year competition

NCC's construction site Project Boost C5 in Vallila, Helsinki, has won the Finnish Construction Site of the Year competition organized by the construction magazine Rakennuslehti. Boost C5 is an office building to be used by Nordea, and the project is commissioned by global real estate developer Pembroke.

Cargotec will move its premises to NCC's We Land office building in Helsinki

NCC Property Development has signed a lease agreement with Cargotec, which will be moving its headquarters to the We Land office building, due to be completed next year in the Ruoholahti area of Helsinki. Cargotec plans to occupy about 2,000 square meters on We Land’s top floors.
