Bonds with a total value of SEK 1.25 billion and a maturity of three and five years were issued on March 25, with April 5, 2024 as the settlement date. Read the press release.
A strong quarter.
Afa Försäkring has decided to make lump-sum payments of surpluses within the collectively bargained AGS group sickness insurance policy. For NCC this is expected to have a positive impact on EBIT in the fourth quarter of 2021 of approx. SEK 160 M, of which approx. SEK 28 M is reported in the Industry business area and approx. SEK 9 M in other subsidiaries. The remaining approx. SEK 123 M is reported in the Group under Other and eliminations.
NCC divests its Finnish asphalt business to the Finnish based company Asfalttikallio. As previously announced, this is a small unit within NCC that has been loss-making for several years and has a better strategic fit with another owner. The transaction is expected to have a negative impact of SEK 180 M on the earnings in business area Industry in the fourth quarter 2021.
NCC has signed an agreement for Platzer to acquire NCC’s Mimo project in Mölndal on its completion, which is scheduled for 2024, in accordance with the option between the parties. The transaction is based on a property value of just over SEK 1.5 billion.
Sussi Kvart, representing Handelsbanken Funds, will become a new member of NCC’s Nomination Committee. Peter Guve, representing AMF/AMF Funds, will leave the Nomination Committee on account of ownership changes.
